The Gift Guide Gift Guide
There's still time! ⏱️
It's already December 8th! I know, I haven't done my shopping either. Thankfully there is still enough time to get something good. Last week, I was asked by @jonny_popo on Threads to do a gift guide. While I don't really have any great insights on what to get other people, I do have a really good idea of what I would like to receive as gifts 😅.
So I'm taking the advice of my fiancee Jess and making a list of stores that I enjoy instead! This includes both websites and physical stores. Hopefully one of these shops will have a thing or two that someone you're shopping for will also enjoy. If not, I also listed a few of the best buying guides I've seen from around the internet. Hopefully we find something!

🃏 Art of Play
I wrote about the Art of Play a few issues ago but in case you missed it or forgot, this is your reminder. This place is amazing. They sell everything from playing cards to spinning tops. There's also 3D puzzles, kaleidoscopes, boardgames, and wooden bird call sets for the bird watcher in your life.

A lot of their stock is on the more expensive side but if you're looking for a special gift for someone that you're willing to splurge on, they have some very unique options. If you used to play with it as a child there's a high chance they sell an upgraded premium version of it here.
✒️ Goods for the Study
If the person you're looking for is one of those unfortunate souls that happens to be very into pens and stationery (like me), then get them anything from this store. I didn't even know it existed until a few weeks ago and I walked out with way too much. They have a varied selection of pens, unique stamps, and endless planners and notebooks that I typically only see on Japan stationery haul videos (one of my favorite rabbit holes to fall into).

Stationery is one of those hobbies where something generic and seemingly impersonal can actually be super personal, so I would say don't try to get too fancy if you don't know exactly what they're into. You can't go wrong with a nice notebook or pen holder. Or you can always just go with a gift card and tell them to go crazy.
👕 Huckberry
The last online store I would recommend checking out is Huckberry. I feel like most people who are active on the internet know what Huckberry is at this point, but if you don't then this is for you. It's an online store that mostly sells premium clothes for men but they've been expanding recently to include a lot more.

Now they also have a killer YouTube series called Dirt that I'm in love with and a fairly diverse range of products in their store. Whether you're looking to get someone a new shirt, some gadgets, or even new body oil, Huckberry not only sells it but probably has a sale on it. Just browsing their website always gives me potential ideas for what to get someone so hopefully it will do the same for you.
